My Knitting Companions

I don't know who was more thrilled the I learned to knit, me or my companions. The funny thing is that the usually choose the same side of me to sit on.

Gus is my left hand cat.

And Jack is my right hand cat.

You can make a pretty good mom and yarn sandwich this way.

  1. Rascal often tries to snuggle up when I'm knitting, which is fine when I'm using circulars, but not so great when I'm using long straights. He often jumps down with a big sigh after a few rows... too much ear tickling with the needles!

  2. My sock needles are not really ear ticklers, but Jack always tries to eat my yarn. That is why I encourage him to sleep, I have less wet yarn when I'm knitting!
